I was born in Waco in 1968 and lived here until I graduated from Richfield High in 1986. This was the last graduating class of Richfield High School. I left Waco for Dallas in the summer of 1986 and attended Southern Methodist
University. Graduating from SMU in 1991 with a degree in Economics/w Financial Applications, I took a job with Lomas Mortgage USA. I worked in the foreclosure department as a VA loan claims representative. This was a substantial learning experience as we processed over 3,000 VA, FHA, and conventional foreclosures per month. A year and a half later I went to work for an appraisal firm in North Dallas—C.L. McDade & Company. McDade provided an excellent learning experience and allowed me to acquire my State Appraisal Certification (license #1326352-R) and Texas Brokers license. I moved back home to Waco in April 1994 and founded R.E.Henderson & Company. My wife, Charlotte, and I were married in June 1994 and now have two beautiful children, Olivia (9) and Billy (6). In my spare time I enjoy being at our small family farm in Clifton, golfing, hunting/fishing, and generally anything outdoors. There have been many changes in the appraisal industry over the last 16 years and R.E.Henderson & Co. has taken great strides to maintain the highest level of service for our customers. I take great pride in my work and feel it is my job to provide the client with an accurate and timely appraisal report.
